Pros: Good non-stick surface.
Cons: Maybe too good. I've had pancakes fly out of the side of the pan when turning.

I received this product as a gift. I have used it only a few times for pancakes because of the tendency for them to fly out of the pan in the space between the two halves of the unit. Pancake batter tends to stick to the shape molds. It is good for grilled cheese, however.
